I met a woman on the Rythmia ayahuasca retreat I attended in Costa Rica in 2017. We shared a room and became friends. She lamented that she had attended many retreats but always saw darkness and cried her heart out. She wanted to see all the colours and shapes typical of the visions a lot of people see on plant medicine.
During the ceremony one night, the shaman woman came over to me and said I had been given permission by spirit to do a soul rescue with my friend. I knew what I had to do. I journeyed to find her missing soul shard and brought it back, planting it in her heart again. Later that evening she said she had seen all her ancestors faces coming in over mine, going right back to the days of slavery. The next evening in ceremony, all her ancestors lined up and gave her a gift of love to put in her heart and she felt truly released and healed of past ancestral pain and suffering. .
